Cependant, elle pr\u00e9sente un clivage marqu\u00e9, une grande fragilit\u00e9 et une structure cristalline lamellaire. De ce fait, elle se fracture facilement le long des plans de clivage sous l&#039;effet de contraintes m\u00e9caniques, produisant ainsi une grande quantit\u00e9 de particules ultrafines (&lt; 1 \u00b5m). la plus courante et la plus rentable pour atteindre le D50 le plus bas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Raisonnement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>L&#039;\u00e9tat de dispersion d\u00e9termine la limite de finesse<\/strong><br>Lors du broyage \u00e0 sec, les fines particules de barytine (&lt; 2\u20133 \u03bcm) s&#039;agglom\u00e8rent facilement sous l&#039;effet des forces de van der Waals, des charges statiques et de l&#039;enchev\u00eatrement m\u00e9canique. Ces agglom\u00e9rats sont trait\u00e9s comme de \u00ab grosses particules \u00bb lors des impacts suivants, ce qui entra\u00eene un gaspillage d&#039;\u00e9nergie pour leur d\u00e9sagr\u00e9gation au lieu d&#039;un affinage plus pouss\u00e9. Une r\u00e9duction suppl\u00e9mentaire entra\u00eenerait une augmentation drastique de la consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie et de la charge du syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9poussi\u00e9rage. Rares sont les entreprises capables d\u2019atteindre un D50 inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 3,5\u00a0\u00b5m de fa\u00e7on stable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Broyeurs \u00e0 sable \u00e0 agitation humide (billes de zircone de 0,6 \u00e0 1,0 mm)\u00a0: D50 de 1,0 \u00e0 2,0 \u03bcm est courant. Les configurations haut de gamme (billes de 0,2 \u00e0 0,4 mm + vitesse lin\u00e9aire \u00e9lev\u00e9e) peuvent atteindre D50 de 0,5 \u00e0 0,8 \u03bcm. Certains broyeurs \u00e0 sable nanom\u00e9triques atteignent un D50 inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 400 nm (mais \u00e0 un co\u00fbt tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contr\u00f4le du surbroyage et de la distribution granulom\u00e9trique<\/strong><br>Le broyage \u00e0 sec de la barytine pr\u00e9sente souvent des distributions bimodales ou multimodales (\u00ab\u00a0exc\u00e8s de fines &lt; 1 \u00b5m, d\u00e9ficit de particules moyennes\u00a0\u00bb), avec des fines &lt; 1 \u00b5m pouvant atteindre 30\u201350%.
